F1V's Response to Russian's Invasion And Ways To Support Ukraine
Since February 24th, 2022, Russia's war against Ukraine has been going on. The aggressor kills civilians, inflicts constant missile strikes on apartment buildings, shells green corridors, and medical facilities. Today, every Ukrainian is a hero. Our brave people are fighting for the sovereignty of the state. Here is our public position, list of trusted news sources, ways to help, and the actions our team is now taking.

Russia is waging a full-scale war in Ukraine. The aggressor kills civilians, inflicts constant missile strikes on apartment buildings, shells green corridors, and medical facilities.
We are against this brutal war and condemn Russia, which aims to destroy not only our state but also ruin the entire free world. We believe in the victory of Ukraine, in the victory of the democratic world. Ukrainian troops have already proved to the occupiers and the whole world that we have a powerful army and fearless people.
How Does Flyer One Ventures Respond
The main duty of Flyer One Ventures, as an international VC with offices in Kyiv and London, is to protect its team and portfolio companies. Since the first day of the war, we have evacuated our employees from the hottest spots, provided them with accommodation, food, and the necessary medical and humanitarian assistance.
Flyer One Ventures doesn’t invest in startups, which work on the russian market, generate revenues on the russian market, pay taxes in russia and whose founders live in russia.
Now, Flyer One Ventures’ team is actively involved in working with portfolio startups to minimize all negative effects and disruptions caused by the war.
The highest priority is assigned to the following tasks:
optimizing business operational efficiency based on statistical methods of cash flow forecasting;
evaluating and planning activities for each product to maintain or increase its ROI;
prioritizing working concepts;
building a long-term marketing strategy for startups entering or expanding to Western markets
developing brand identity during a crisis.
Our team is working hard to ensure that our startups, affected by the war, can continue operations efficiently and from safe locations.
