12 offline startup events in Europe you should not miss in late 2022

Late 2022 is packed with a number of European tech and startup events, which will take place live in various European cities, including Lisbon, Munich, Gdansk, Dublin and Lviv.


The Flyer One Ventures team has compiled a list of events and conferences relevant for founders, entrepreneurs, startup employees, VCs and angel investors this autumn.



Over 1,000 digital decision-makers, innovators, thought leaders and creative minds meet at Hamburg’s cultural melting pot St. Pauli. This year’s theme: Hug the System. It’s suitable for startups looking to raise the next funding round and fellow investors who want to expand their network. One of its features is a startup pitch battle with a 10,000-euro prize.

One of Eastern Europe’s largest tech conferences, annually bringing together about 5,000 tech enthusiasts, executives and software developers from 40 countries. Over the years, it has welcomed representatives of Google, Tesla, Spotify, F1, and Klarna, as well as Ukrainian startups like Liki24. This year’s participants will discuss Ukraine’s tech scene during the war, the future of military tech and cybersecurity.

Four years ago, the conference aimed to connect only business angels in the Czech Republic. Since then, it has become a cross-border investment event, bringing together VCs, angels and mentors from all over Central and Eastern Europe. Slush is an annual startup and tech event. It helps founders meet investors and vice versa through matchmaking events and pitching competitions. In 2021, Slush brought together 8,800 attendees from around the world, including 2,600 investors. Since 2015, it has also run events throughout the world: Slush Tokyo, Slush Shanghai and Slush Small Talks events. Slush positions itself as “the world’s leading startup event.”
