Finance Manager (Liki24)


Currently, we are looking for a Finance Manager for a product company - Liki24💊

Liki24 is a health tech startup company founded in 2017.

    Our ultimate goal is to disrupt the delivery industry and build a service to teleport family care products to our customers – faster, with the cheapest price and the most satisfying shopping experience! We are building an ecosystem that unites pharmacies, logistics, insurance companies, clinics, doctors, telemedicine, healthcare products producers and all other market players, so that customers can benefit from low prices, great products selection, and fast delivery.
    We have received multiple investments from recognized international PE and VC funds, such as Horizon Capital, TA Ventures and F1V.
    The company is working in Ukraine, Romania, and Italy. We are excited about launching more countries soon!

    The Finance Manager would be responsible for overseeing financial operations, budgeting, reporting and strategic financial planning, ensuring company's sustainable growth and profitability.
    Reports to: CEO and shareholders.

About you:

  • higher education in Finance, Economics or Accounting;

  • ACCA/CFA qualification will be a plus;

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Big-4 firms combined with experience working for international or big local companies;

  • strong business acumen and understanding of consequences of business actions;

  • proven working experience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting combined with functional best practices and technical knowledge to do the job at a high level of accomplishment;

  • strong ability in analytical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and drive to strive in a fast-paced environment with the requirements to learn quickly, to be open to change, to connect values with actions, to pursue everything with energy and drive, to steadfastly push self and others for results;

  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams and individuals;

  • proficiency in Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint;

  • business fluent knowledge of Ukrainian and English.

What will you do:

  • review and analyze the financial statements of the company. Present financial reports to the CEO, management board, and shareholders, highlighting financial performance and risks;

  • execute and develop the company's financial strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives;

  • oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, invoicing, payroll, and expense management. Determine methods to reduce costs;

  • ensure and enhance quality control over financial transactions and reporting;

  • preparation of annual budgets and regular rolling forecasts, scenario planning, and variances reporting;

  • lead the process of an annual audit of the group by a Big-4 firm and standalone statutory audits conducted by local audit firms;

  • implement measures to optimize the company's tax position and minimize tax liabilities within the framework of applicable tax laws and regulations;

  • identify and mitigate the main financial risks that could impact the company's stability and profitability. Maintain, and develop risk management strategies and contingency plans;

  • participate in due diligence, financial analysis, and negotiations with potential investors;

  • lead and develop the finance and accounting team by setting goals, providing guidance, and fostering a high-performance culture;

  • collaborate with other departments to drive cross-functional initiatives.
